| The works carried out during this course (March-August 2015) alowed to correct the datasets and to study the variation in catches of albacore tuna from 1967 to 2014 (except for the years 1987 to 1990) based on 3 gears: the trolling line, the line with cane and the pelagic trawl. Simultaneously, key ICCAT delivred was provide information to expert groups, with a view to defining fishing quotas. Catches released and fishing effort (defined by the number of vessels and the time spent at sea) have varied considerably over these 50 years, and have been increasing in recent years, after having decreased sharply. | This article summarizes the latest knowledge on the ecology of three gobies. The authors compile data published by various scientists who carried out their research under different conditions, using a variety of methods for collecting data and processing the results. The relationship between population structure and different environmental conditions was considered for three goby species Pomatoschistus minutus (Pallas, 1770), P. microps (Kroyer, 1838) and Gobius niger Linnaeus, 1758, in different geographical areas, notably the Mediterranean (Gulf of Lions and Adriatic) and cold temperate Atlantic (north of the English Channel) parts. | The exploitation of amphihaline species by marine and freshwater commercial fishermen in the Loire estuary in 1989, and by marine commercial fishermen in the Adour estuary from 1985-1991 is described in this study. This fishery employs 320 fishermen and represents a commercial value of 38 million FF. This is mainly due to the exploitation of glass eel, especially in the Loire River, the landings of which have decreased alarmingly. In the Adour River, the diversity of the exploited species and the total commercial value of drift gillnet catches - on the average 43% - in this fishery are high. | Two hundred and twenty four benthic foraminiferal species were recognized in the total assemblages of fifty samples collected from the Senegalese continental shelf south of Dakar (down to a depth of 200 m). A factor analysis based on nineteen dominant species shows three main factors. The first two seem to be associated with temperature and its seasonal variations; they are depth-related and determine two main faunal changes. The third factor is substrate-related.
